Gentlemen,

I am directod to request you to be good enough

to furnish this Government with details of the item

£315.15.9 for "Assistants, Draughtsmen, and Clerks Time

and Office Expenses" inserted in the account of Sir John

Wolfe Barry and Partners dated the 16th, of last April.

2. I shall also be glad to know whether you

examine and satisfy yourselves as to the accuracy of the

Consulting Engineers' Accounts and whether the details of

those accounts are supplied to you by them.
